on the evening of our rehearsal dinner, gary's sister presented us with an extremely meaningful gift.
"the vaughan house - est. 1934" plaque hung outside of gary's grandparents house for many, many years. this sign was the meaningful gift.
and for nearly eight years it hung at stage road - now it hangs on the front porch of our home.
and here are a few snapshots of the hydrangeas in bloom - can i just tell you how lovely it was to walk outside and cut them for friends, a baby shower, and for our enjoyment at home? holy moly. they were beautiful.
and last but definitely not least ... our wedding gifts to each other were {from me} a Bible and {from gary} a hammock. the hammock at our old house was so nice, so peaceful - it lasted until about two years ago. this anniversary, gary and the boys put up a hammock for me. oh how i love it and so do they.
