touch a truck was this past weekend in opelika - this is one of my favorite events. down by railroad avenue many vehicles (buses, UPS truck, firetruck, helicopter, monster trucks, you name it) park and the kiddos can drive and explore. just a great event and the boys absolutely LOVE it.
last year i took the boys solo - and there was a lifesaver helicopter there. this really took me aback because i was there to spend the time with my sons and just wasn't at all prepared to see it {since the last time i saw one, i flew in it to grady hospital on october 15th}. this year i knew it would be there, was totally okay with that, and it was all just fine!
a train came through when we were there - perfect!
and this was the big green bus - a bus that has tumbling/gymnastics apparatus in it and travels from school to school. it was really neat!
henry, alex and owen. alex is sporting his big brother shirt - the bentleys will welcome baby sister in just a month or so!
o checking out this police motorcycle - he was sad when he tried to climb on it and that wasn't allowed. and he was also sad when we left ...
but a good time was had by all - really love this event.
